ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Smiggle Marketing Team!

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of digital marketing activities to achieve sales projections for the brand, supporting both retail and online stores in all countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Briefing Web and EDM briefs in line with the Brand and Online promotional plan
  • Testing and approving EDM briefs
  • Monitoring Smiggle websites
  • Briefing creative and copy then testing web updates
  • Ability to react quickly and accurately to promotional changes
  • Brief and update trade and brand social ad content (facebook ads manager)
  • Plan and create social media content, write copy & schedule posts
  • Assist with the creation of social media content plans and campaigns
  • Copywriting for online product descriptions
  • Building strong relationships with the internal Web Development and Online Stores teams to effectively implement plans and improve overall web and email presence
  • Compiling weekly reports

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing or digital marketing qualification
  • Experience within a retail or ecommerce environment is advantageous
  • Experience in Facebook ads manager would be beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent creative and on-brand copywriting skills
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
