About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensing Coordinator to join our Smiggle Product team. This role will look after the licensing process for Smiggle and the product team. Reporting to the Head of Product & Sourcing, you will be responsible for all product submissions, collating samples and liaising with licensors among many other things!

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all licensed products adhere to the branding and logo usage guidelines set forth in licensing agreements
• Maintaining detailed records of product submissions, design approvals, and any correspondence related to licensed product
• Fostering strong relationships with external licensing companies and internal teams and ensuring all parties are aligned on approval timelines and requirements
• Facilitating a smooth approval process by ensuring that necessary documents and assets are submitted and can be retrieved and that reviews are conducted promptly, meeting agreed-upon timelines.
• Managing and understanding all licensor portals for submissions
• Transparency and complete communication regarding any updates to design modifications required by licensors
• Providing regular reports to management on the status of licensing approvals, highlighting any concerns or successes
• Collating and sending of all product samples to licensors
• Work closely with the product, design and QA teams 

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable role within the retail industry
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience in overseeing multiple licenses simultaneously, ensuring compliance and accuracy
