About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Smiggle Marketing Team!
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving and executing the global social media strategy to enhance brand presence, drive customer engagement, and grow a loyal online community across key markets. The Social Media Coordinator will help deliver vibrant, on-brand content that reflects Smiggle’s fun and playful identity, while staying on top of social media trends, platform innovations, and performance insights to continuously evolve Smiggle’s social presence worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and evolve the global social media strategy and guidelines
- Explore and implement new ways to leverage social media channels to increase brand awareness, sales and drive traffic to our websites and stores
- Coordinate and implement the content for our social channels, namely Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Oversee and manage social media activities with the help of the Digital Marketing Assistant (i.e. posting, sharing, liking, responding)
- Create social media advertising campaigns that deliver on specific brand and tactical objectives
- Provide weekly and monthly summary reporting and insights on the brand’s social media performance
- In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, develop license social media campaigns, including concept ideation, copywriting and image selection
- Oversee the marketing customer service across the social channels and marketing email inboxes
Skills & Experience

You have demonstrated experience in social media, even on your own channels

Tertiary education in a marketing-related field would be ideal

Working knowledge of retail industry would be handy but not imperative

You are passionate about our customers’ wants and needs, the brand and our product range

You’re creative and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment with a great team

Strong organisational and time management skills including solid attention to detail
