About the Role

We are looking for a vibrant and creative Junior Visual Merchandising Coordinator in a newly created role to join our Smiggle team! You will manage display and samples in our internal mock shop, forward plan space and product lifecycle and support the global team in trading and delivering VM Briefs for each of our regions. Our current team structure is looking for someone to grow with the team and business and support in the creation of a cross functional role integral to the brands future. This role is a full-time, 6 month contract role, located at our Support Office on St Kilda Rd.

Responsibilities 

• Manage internal Mock shop and sets ups in line with brand presentation needs
• Manage department product samples and image library
• Build relationships across multiple departments to ensure forward planning supports country specific goals
• Support global VM coordinator team in production of fortnightly VM briefs 
• Work closely with Retail teams to support in delivering campaign and collateral rollouts to stores
• Collate and communicate feedback to the business with solutions to grow sales　
• Support in strategic merchandising projects 

Required Skills & Experience 

• Knowledge and demonstrated experience working with Adobe Suite - In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator (preferred) and basic proficiency in Excel
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role or have a strong visual merchandising background within a high volume, fast paced retailer
• Ability to work at pace, prioritise your workload and communicate progress to deliver team deadlines
• Have great attention to detail & ability to utilise and analyse sales reports
• Have clear written communication skills and be a confident articulator
• Adaptability to change with a proactive approach that is solution based 
• Be creative and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
